It is an ancient Elixir for Youth and Health. Our body is made by three prime elements namely Vata ( Space+Air), Pitta (fire+water) and kapha (Water+Earth). For a healthy body it is very important for all the three elements to be in proportion. Triphala is the best tonic for balancing these three elements because of its magical abilities. It is one of the best health elixirs that not only boosts immunity but also detoxifies.
Triphala cures all problems related to skin, hair, eyesight, immunity, improper digestion, urinary, reproductive & nervous systems. It is a humble request from my end to spare out some time and make Triphala Powder at home. It will only take a little bit of time & effort from your side and gives Lifetime Fitness.

Recipe for Triphala Powder
- 100 grams Harad or Haritaki (Chebulic Myrobalans or Terminalia chebula)
- 200 grams Baheda or Bibhitaki (Terminalia Bellirica)
- 400 grams Amla or Amalaki (Indian gooseberry or Emblica officinalis)
- Little amount of desi ghee (clarified butter)
Note 1: The prime reason for using Desi ghee (clarified butter) is that Triphala powder is quite dry in nature and adding a small amount of it overcomes the dryness.
Note 2: The quality of Baheda and Harad also differs as in the case of foods and vegetables. Remove the seeds (guthlis) from the skin but in my case it was very difficult to separate the seed from the skin so I partially crushed my Harad and Baheda during the process but at the time of sieving the partially crushed seeds got sieved as they cannot be grinded.
